ARISE: Anti-Racism in Schools and Education was founded by Miss Lawton. A former primary school teacher, Miss Lawton founded ARISE in light of the racism she experienced and witnessed in schools.

Since its foundation, ARISE has become world renowned for engaging training sessions, high level support and interactive assemblies.

Miss Lawton has become a household name in educational EDI. She has appeared on BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio Berkshire, The Times, The Guardian and The Telegraph.
